Do I Qualify?

See what training help you may qualify for.

Answer a few quick questions and we’ll show which WIOA group you may fit and what to do next. This isn’t an application, it’s free, and it isn’t an official decision — only a MassHire career center can approve funding.

Do you live in Massachusetts?

These training funds are for Massachusetts residents. WIOA exists in every state, though.

How old are you?

WIOA has a separate track for young people.

What’s your current work situation?

Pick the closest one.

Does your household receive public assistance?

For example SNAP, TAFDC, SSI or similar. This can move you up the priority list.

Is your household income low?

“Low income” is based on limits that change with your household size and can vary by region and year. You don’t need an exact number here — a MassHire career center checks this for you. Just give your best sense of where you stand.

Are you a veteran or the spouse of a veteran?

Veterans and eligible spouses get priority in these programs.

Are you legally allowed to work in the US?

Work authorization is generally required for WIOA-funded training.

Which field interests you?

You can change your mind later.
